Built for Weekend Golfers Who Want Answers, Not Sales Pitches
Every tool on this page was built to answer a specific question we kept hearing from golfers: what ball should I play for my swing speed? How much does a simulator actually cost? How far should my 7-iron go? What should I buy first on a $500 budget?
These are not generic calculators — they use real data from our testing, Trackman averages, and current retail prices. The compression chart filters 34+ balls by swing speed so you stop guessing which ball suits your game. The simulator calculator builds a complete parts list at your budget so you know exactly what a home setup costs before you start buying.
The distance chart gives you realistic carry numbers based on Trackman data, not the optimistic figures on manufacturer websites. Enter your driver swing speed and see estimated carry for every club in your bag. The budget planner tells you exactly what to buy first at every price tier — from $200 to $2,000 — so you invest in the gear that actually lowers your scores before splurging on nice-to-haves.
All four tools work on mobile, require no sign-up, and have no usage limits. We earn revenue through affiliate links on recommended products within the tools, not by charging for access or gating results behind an email wall.

How these tools are built and maintained
Every tool on this page exists because we got tired of doing the same math by hand. The simulator cost calculator started as a spreadsheet where we tracked component prices for our own build. The compression chart started as a notes file where we logged ball data during testing. Once the data got useful enough to share, we turned it into something interactive.
The data behind these tools is updated monthly. Retail prices shift — sometimes a $599 launch monitor drops to $499 during a sale and stays there. New products launch and need to be added to the charts. Trackman releases updated distance averages as the amateur population data grows. When data changes, the tools change with it. The "last updated" date on each tool reflects the most recent data refresh, not just the last time we touched the code.
We do not gate any tool behind an email signup or account creation. The tools work the moment you open them because that is how tools should work. Revenue comes from affiliate links on the products these tools recommend — if the compression chart helps you find the right ball and you buy it through our link, that funds the next tool.
